01

Release Baseline

ROS 1.6.0 is documented as the normative release baseline dated September 8, 2026. Associated usage resolves `ROS@latest` to `ROS@v1.6.0`; MODE continues to distinguish AUTO, COMPACT and FULL from domain scope, method and operation.

02

Dynamic Systems & Network Lens

The optional lens represents a system as S=(G,X,F,U,D,Θ,P): topology, states, flows, exogenous inputs, delays, time scales and observation projection. It extends ROS across domains without forcing every research object into a system graph.

03

Applicability & Level

An Applicability Gate determines whether the lens adds insight. LEVEL 0–3 ranges from implicit through qualitative and structured to formal/numerical; formalization must suit the evidence and research objective.

04

Preserved Contracts

Ontology Diversity, the empirical revision loop, Failure Memory and Architecture/System Reading remain in place. The generic systems lens does not replace the domain-specific architecture profile; Domain-System Graph and epistemic Research Graph remain separate artifacts.

05

Reported Quality

The supplied QA_REPORT.json reports PASS for schema and JSON checks, the dynamic-systems example, latest resolution, usage/core consistency and architecture/graph separation. This is reported release QA, not independent execution by the website.

06

Version NIS Separately

NIS migration 1.0, SARM specification 1.1 / RC1 and the decision on Speculative Layer and Narrative Delta dated September 9, 2026 remain separate from ROS core 1.6.0. No integrated schema/release evidence has yet been documented for the latest decision.
