Language, cognition and cultural evolution as a testable ROS research model.

01

Source Material & Provenance

Fourteen German-language essays from the 2024 thought laboratory form the historical provenance layer. Their original inferences are preserved but not retrospectively treated as scientifically established claims.

02

ROS Reconstruction

The corpus was decomposed into premises, inferences, H1–H13, expected observations and possible falsifications. Terminology, hypothesis statuses and later revisions remain distinguishable.

03

Evidence Runs A–E

Five evidence runs test the hypotheses against external research, countermodels and negative findings. A Validation Matrix distinguishes supported subclaims, limited modeling perspectives, underdetermined statements and rejected strong forms.

04

Result

The synthesis describes language as a coupled multiscale system and cultural development as distributed adaptive exploration. H11 and H12 stand as systems hypotheses; H13 holds only under explicit conditions such as independent, diverse and quality-assured observations.

05

Research Graph & Open Questions

The artifact connects H1–H13, evidence, negative findings and revisions in a final Research Graph. Open questions and the source register remain part of the research record instead of vanishing into a seamless narrative.
