Ling_Evo · Language, Cognition & Cultural Evolution

Ling_Evo illustrates how ROS turns exploratory essays into a provenance-preserving, falsifiable and differentiatedly validated research state.

ROS FULL reconstruction of a thought-laboratory corpus created in 2024; documented research state rev1.6.

01

Problem & Subject of Research

Fourteen German-language essays develop a coherent thought model of language origins, grammar, cognition, cultural knowledge accumulation and AI. The texts generated hypotheses; they were not written as an already scientifically substantiated corpus.

02

Provenance Instead of Overwriting

ROS preserves the 2024 corpus as a historical layer. Later scientific verification, conceptual clarification and revised hypotheses receive separate states so that original intuition and subsequent evidence do not merge.

03

Hypotheses & Verification Architecture

Premises and causal chains were reconstructed as H1–H13. Evidence Runs A–E test predictions, countermodels and negative evidence; the Validation Matrix makes supported, limited, underdetermined and rejected statements visible.

04

Result & Revision

Several core ideas remain viable in refined form. H11 models language across multiple levels of neural implementation, individual, interaction, population and culture; H12 treats cultural accumulation as distributed adaptive exploration. H13 requires explicit conditions for independent, diverse and validated observations.

05

Artifact & Reusability

Ling_Evo rev1.6 compiles the historical corpus, ROS reconstruction, H1–H13, five Evidence Runs, negative findings, Validation Matrix, Research Graph, open questions and source registers into a versioned research artifact.

The case study documents the methodological transformation process and selected results. It replaces neither a complete source review nor the internal ROS register; the 21-page PDF and DOCX edition are not included in this website bundle. rev1.6 is a canonical internal research state, not a peer-reviewed publication.

Documentation basis: Ling_Evo rev1.6 (2026-09-04); Analyzing ROS Architecture (2026-09-04). Source type and specific verification limits are recorded in the provenance register; citing a source does not independently validate every claim.
