Drone and Aerostat · Multidomain Systems Research

A research project on elevated platforms and a separate A/B onboard energy comparison. ROS makes system boundaries, revisions and outstanding proofs visible.

01

Problem

Initial situation

A civilian elevated mesh relay concept gave rise to separate questions about availability, controllability, sensing and energy. Without distinct system boundaries, platform benefits and consumption advantages are easily conflated unjustifiably.

02

Constraints

Boundary conditions

  • Keep platform research and onboard energy comparison separate
  • Do not publish operational platform parameters or deployment optimization
  • A mechanical energy balance is not proof of dynamic reachability
  • Do not claim field validation or consumption benefits
03

Solution

Solution

Master v1.1 reconstructs two research branches: elevated/tethered or drifting platforms, and a distinct energy comparison based on externally specified initial states. Parallel sensor questions are not an obligatory development path toward the energy model.

Architecture

Architecture

  • Project Master v1.1: Historical Reconstruction, Not a Baseline Freeze
  • Platform branch: hypothesis landscape and constraints
  • Energy branch: M0.6.7 as conceptual freeze
  • M1a.0.2 FROZEN: dimensionless verification core
  • ROS assessments as separately pinned methodological reviews

Result

Result

Research status October 20, 2026: documented research architecture, not a finished simulation product. H-A-ATT-01 concerning attitude/rotational dynamics remains OPEN / NOT_VALIDATED; ΔQ_onboard and common MEG reachability remain UNBESTIMMT (undetermined). M1a is CORE-VERIFIED / FULL-METHOD-OPEN per specification. The new synthesis audit is FULL-SCOPE-REVIEW / FULL_PASS_NOT_ATTESTED, not a new baseline. The historical platform TESTBASE case is not retroactively classified as an application of the current release. Since October 22, an internal offline reading archive for the October 20 research snapshot comprises eight documents, local search and rendered mathematics. Reported 282 search passages and 312 formulas without conversion errors indicate publication progress, not research proof. QA using inlined pages does not establish complete file:// navigation. Originals and archive remain internal, available on request.
